Custom URL: Use Your Own Domain for Your Internet Radio
With a custom URL, your radio runs under your domain instead of the default server address. In the control panel, this feature is called URL Branding (Settings → URL Branding). Once it's enabled, the control panel, the stream URLs, and the mini-site (startpage) all use your domain name, so everything looks professional and consistent with your brand.
What Does a Custom URL Change?
After you enable it, your domain will appear in the stream URLs you share with listeners,
Listeners only see your address, for example stream.yourradio.com.
Where Do I Set Up My Domain?
Notice, you need to own your own domain to user this feture. Log in to the panel and go to:
Main → Settings → URL Branding
There you'll find the Domain name field and the feature Status (default: Not enabled). The page also shows the server IP address you need for your DNS settings.
Which Domain Can I Use?
You have to own your domain, then you may use:
- A second-level domain, e.g.
yourradio.com - A subdomain, e.g.
stream.yourradio.com
Tip: If yourradio.com already has a website on another hosting provider, don't move anything. Create a subdomain such as stream.yourradio.com and use it only for your radio.
